COSMETOLOGY
(1,000 hours)

Full-time completion: 6.5 - 8 months
Part-time completion:
8 - 15.5 months

Curriculum:
Cosmo Beauty College’s Cosmetology program boasts comprehensive instruction and practical training, in order to pass the state board examination and prepare students with the most up to date salon training.We are committed to ensuring our students’ success through practical hands-on experience and one on one instruction and feedback, which all contributes to our belief that not only learning theories in a classroom setting are important, but also developing them into professional skills. Our instructors are passionate and experienced industry leaders that are committed to our students’ education and beauty career.Subject includes:

Our Goal:
The objective of the Cosmetology 1,000-hour program is for the students to develop their practical skills, theoretical knowledge, and professional attitudes for success in the profession.This course will prepare the student to pass the California State Board licensing examination:· The key fundamentals in cosmetology procedures, techniques, application methods, materials, equipment, supplies, and products.· Acquire and retain relevant knowledge and information.· Apply knowledge and stimulate students to continue to learn in related areas of the beauty industry.· Create a significant learning experience that can provide a positive and lasting influence on students personally and in the workplace.

ESTHETICS
(600 hours)

Full-time completion: 3.75 - 4.5 months
Part-time completion:
5 - 9.5 months

Curriculum:
Cosmo Beauty College's Esthetics program is designed to prepare students for professional employment performing facials, body treatments, make-up artistry, and temporary hair removal. Students are taught employ-ability skills and are prepared for state licensing examination.We are committed to ensuring our students’ success through practical hands-on experience and one on one instruction and feedback, which all contributes to our belief that not only learning theories in a classroom setting are important, but also developing them into professional skills. Our instructors are passionate and experienced industry leaders that are committed to our students’ education and beauty career.Subject includes:
· Health & Safety
· Disinfection & Sanitation
· Health and Safety/Hazardous Substances
· Electricity
· Bacteriology, Anatomy, Physiology, Skin Analysis, and Conditions.
· Facials (Manual, Electrical, and Chemical)
· Eyebrow Shaping and Hair Removal
· Make-Up

Our Goal:

MANICURING
(400 hours)

Full-time completion: 2.5 - 3.25 months
Part-time completion:
3.25 - 6.25 months

Curriculum:
Cosmo Beauty College's Manicuring program is designed to help students learn what they need to know to become licensed and professional nail technicians. The curriculum for students enrolled in a manicurist and pedicurist course consists of technical instruction and practical operations covering all practices of a manicurist and pedicurist.We are committed to ensuring our students’ success through practical hands-on experience and one on one instruction and feedback, which all contributes to our belief that not only learning theories in a classroom setting are important, but also developing them into professional skills. Our instructors are passionate and experienced industry leaders that are committed to our students’ education and beauty career.Subject includes:

· Spa Manicure & Pedicure
